Advanced Geofencing
Who is present on a project when.
When an employee enters (or leaves) the site, this is registered. This makes it clear during the day which field employee or subcontractor has worked on which project for how long.
In the online digital map you can create a geofence with a few mouse clicks at the project locations where the field staff will work. A geofence is a GPS demarcated area. You save these as projects, for example under the name of the client, including the project number.
As soon as an employee drives onto the project site, he or she enters the geofence digitally. That moment is recorded as the start time. When the employee leaves the site, that moment is also recorded, but now as the end time. The employee himself does not have to do anything for this.
This way you as a company gain insight into the hard data. You know exactly who was working on which project at what time.
The employee can always make changes or add comments.
So both the hard, measured data and the data added by the employee themselves are entered via the cloud into your existing time portal.

They no longer need to be proactive but reactive with their hours.
They can no longer write that they started at 8 o'clock, if they did not drive into the site until a little before 8.30 am.

And because the project leader now has the hard, actual data AND what the employee thought of it, they can only really properly assess whether the data is approved and may be further processed.
API software integration
Connect the Salvo cloud to your time portal.
The locations and working time data recorded by the Salvo app, IoT sensors and the geofences around your project locations are passed to Salvo's secure cloud servers in real time. The cloud environment is integrated with your existing software systems via an API link. All data is thus visible in real time in the existing time portal, where it can be validated with the push of a button.

In addition to the vehicle tracking systems supplied by Salvo, Salvo also easily connects to your existing vehicle tracking system. In combination with the Salvo sensors, you can use your vehicle tracking system much more powerfully in one fell swoop: no longer as a completely separate system that you do not use enough in practice, but your journey data is fully automatically integrated into the time registration of every field service employee.
Privacy
Register AVG compliant hours.
Taking privacy into account is very important these days. Not only for the employees and the works council, but also for the organization itself. Therefore, Salvo is fully compliant with GDPR legislation. The app has a privacy switch. All communication to and from the cloud environment is encrypted. The cloud servers are heavily secured. And the collected data is only accessible to a few authorized persons from the organization.
The privacy switch in the Salvo app gives the field worker the option to switch the status of the app from Private mode at any time. In this mode, the app does not send any privacy-sensitive information to the server. In this way, the registration of the location outside working hours can be completely switched off.
The employee is assisted in various ways the next working day to ensure that the privacy switch is switched back to Work mode at the right time and that registration takes place as desired during working hours.
So the app thinks of everything and the staff is helped by the Salvo app to ensure their privacy.
In addition, all data is sent encrypted and stored in the cloud. So that too is all set up in accordance with AVG law.
Salvo naturally works with a processing agreement and all associated protocols and procedures according to the GDPR.
Subcontractor app
Your subcontractors are also automatically registered.
If you use subcontractors or freelancers, you can let them use Salvo's special subcontractor app. In this way you not only automatically register the hours of your own employees, but also of the chain of subcontractors that work for you.
You simply create the subcontractor in Salvo and give the rights to create its personnel. If necessary, you can also have your subcontractor create subcontractors again, so that you automatically have insight into the hours worked for the entire chain of subcontractors. In this way Salvo helps you to comply with your obligation under the Chain Liability Act.
